You're invited! Mark your calendars for Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 6:00-10:00pm.
This year's event will support the programs of Boys & Girls Club of Annapolis & Anne Arundel County’s Bywater location. BGCAA’s mission is to inspire and enable all young people, especially those who need them most, to reach their potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens. The Bywater location was the first Club to open its doors in Anne Arundel County back in 1988, and serves children living in the Bywater Affordable Housing Community. Through the Club, kids receive dinner, programs, field trips, homework help, and more for only $20 for the entire school year. Through our fundraising efforts, we aim to help them establish a designated teen room, new STEM and other program equipment, and more to help these Club members succeed.
Last year, Annapolis Rotaract’s Rock the Dock event sold out and raised over $16,000 for the Live Water Foundation. We are excited to host another successful event to give kids the opportunity, no matter their background or circumstances, to have a great future.
Your Rock the Dock ticket is all-inclusive, which provides you with bottomless1 beer, wine, orange crushes, oysters, local BBQ and appetizers while enjoying live music by Sean Hetrick and the Leftovers! There will also be games, raffles, and a silent auction. We hope you'll join Annapolis Rotaract for a fun Summer night overlooking the Chesapeake Bay at the Annapolis Maritime Museum.
