Tidewater written & directed by Roger Sorkin (in association with American Resilience Project) / Current Revolution directed by Roger Sorkin (in association with American Resilience Project)

With 14 military installations spread across 17 local jurisdictions, the Hampton Roads area of Virginia has the highest concentration of military assets in the country, where 1 in 6 residents are associated with our nation's defense. It is also an area most vulnerable to sea level rise. Homes, schools, hospitals, and families are struggling to keep up with the effects of rising waters, while the military and surrounding municipalities are working towards solutions to strengthen national security and enhance economic prosperity. Current Revolution (MARYLAND PREMIERE)
The debut film in American Resilience Project’s new film series, Current Revolution, tackles the challenge of how the utility, auto, tech and defense industries can modernize our aging power grid to make it more secure and environmentally-friendly. With a focus on national security, economic prosperity, and environmental justice, the film delivers a strategic narrative for transforming the grid and accelerating our transition to an electric vehicle infrastructure.
